Coach John Dorner, of the St. Henry Redskins will begin his 25th year as head coach for the redskins.  Dorner was inducted into the Ohio High School Baseball Association's Hall Fame as a part of the Coaches' Clinic in Columbus, Ohio.  John has become the fourth coach in Mercer County to earn hall of fame honors.  Dorner says that he could not of accomplished all of his achievements without his assisant coaches and the whole package at St. Henry High School.  He was inducted into the hall of fame on January 13, 2014.  When John came to St. Henry he had high hopes to build the St. Henry baseball program and he did just that.  He led the Redskins with a record of 428-209.  He has five MAC titles, 15 sectional titles, six district titles, and three state titles.  He was also fortunate enough to get state coach of the year in 2002 and 2013.  Coach Dorner has also always said, he couldn't of accomplished any of this without the support of his family.  John is constantly putting work into baseball season, whether it's in the offseason or during the regular season, he has a passion for baseball.
